Quickly discover why in 1906 this special spot was picked to build what first was a summer home and then for years, a sportsmen's club. Today, The Barracks Club and grounds are a great spot for family reunions, parties, and guests seeking a private, quiet lakeside experience.
The Barracks Club features sleeping for up to 24 guests, including private rooms, suites, and original multi-bed style lodging. When available, you can reserve the entire Club which includes the Lodge and the Barracks. The rate is $936 per night; minimum stay of two nights required.
The idea of a "lake stay" is for you to experience what Nature has to offer. Perhaps the greatest "amenity" is peace. But when you want to get out on the Lake, there is a NY State boat launch a thousand feet away and a very nice marina offering boat rentals within 2 miles.
For reservations and rates, it is best to call or write sooner than later. We have a loyal base of return guests. So, the calendar books out rather quickly. We try to accommodate everyone's wishes, including keeping rates as affordable as possible. See below for rates; minimum stay of two nights required.
